1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LeadersCartel ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

LeadersCartel provides an AI-powered geopolitical intelligence terminal. The Platform aggregates publicly available information and applies analytical models to surface signals and trends. All intelligence content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice.

3. Subscription and Billing

• A valid credit or debit card is required to start your 3-day free trial.
• Your card will be automatically charged the applicable plan rate ($49/month for Pro, $149/month for Elite) on Day 4 of your trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You may cancel at any time from the Billing section in Settings.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content without authorisation; (c) attempt to reverse engineer the intelligence engine; (d) share account credentials with third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, analytics, models, and software are the exclusive property of LeadersCartel. Source data belongs to respective third-party providers and is used under applicable licence terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Intelligence signals represent probabilistic analysis, not guarantees of future events. LeadersCartel accepts no liability for decisions made based on Platform content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeadersCartel's aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Payments, Billing and Refund Policy

Subscription fees. LeadersCartel offers monthly and annual subscription plans. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate displayed at checkout until you cancel. Annual plans are billed as a single upfront payment.

Trial period. The 3-day free trial requires a valid payment method at sign-up. If you do not cancel before 23:59 UTC on Day 3, your payment method will be charged the applicable monthly rate on Day 4. You may cancel at any time during the trial at no charge.

All sales are final — no refunds. All fees paid are non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused access, or dissatisfaction with the service. This applies to both monthly and annual plans. If a charge was made in error due to a platform fault, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing section of your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

Price changes. We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' written notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will retry up to three times over seven days. If payment is not received your account will be downgraded to expired status and you will lose access to paid features. Reactivation requires a successful payment.

Taxes. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax). Tax, if applicable, will be calculated and shown at checkout based on your billing address.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of London, UK.

Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

• Account data: email address, name, organisation, hashed password
• Usage data: features accessed, queries submitted, watchlist entities
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe — we never store raw card details
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, session timestamps

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to: provide and improve the Platform; personalise your intelligence feed; process payments; send transactional emails (trial reminders, billing notices); comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing); our hosting providers under data processing agreements; law enforcement when legally required.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@leaderscartel.com.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, bcrypt for passwords). Payment data is tokenised via Stripe and never touches our servers.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you have rights to: access, correct, delete, or port your personal data; withdraw consent; lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact hello@leaderscartel.com to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies

We use essential session cookies only. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

8. Changes

We will notify active users by email of material changes to this policy with at least 14 days' notice.
